About Battery Park Yacht Club
Generate excitement
BPYC started as a small group of boaters on Dock A at Battery Park Marina in 2017. Slowly, this group has grown and includes members from not only all parts of Battery Park Marina, but also marinas all over Sandusky. We also have members that do not own a boat!
Everyone is always welcome, so we changed the name to Battery Park Yacht Club. However, we were only a true Yacht Club in spirit.
Now we are one big family with over 40 members that is constantly having events, dinners, sail aways, attending concerts and events...and not just during boating season. In 2025 we decided to set up an official Yacht Club. With all the new and exciting things happening at Battery Park and Battery Park Marina starting in late 2025, we are looking to be one of the most exciting yacht clubs on Sandusky Bay and Lake Erie.
